Shipping and Returns

Shipping Overview

Carolinas R/C ships packages both domestically within the United States, as well as Internationally.  We make every effort to ensure that all orders received by 3:30pm EST are shipped out the same day.  Orders received after 3:30pm EST may go out the same day...otherwise, they will ship the following business day.   We currently ship orders using USPS (United States Postal Service) and UPS.  As soon as your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking/delivery confirmation number.  You can also log into Carolinas RC, click on View My Account, and view the status of your order, as well as the tracking number once it ships.

Domestic USPS Shipping Methods

USPS First Class - Smaller items can be shipped using First Class Mail.  These items are usually shipped in a padded envelope or small box, and generally arrive in 3-7 business days.  USPS delivers Monday - Saturday to most locations.  Actual delivery times can vary, and the shipment time estimates are not guaranteed.

USPS Priority Mail - USPS Priority Mail is a more expedited method of shipment.  These items are usually shipped in a USPS Priority box or large cardboard box, and generally arrive in 2-3 business days.  USPS delivers Monday - Saturday to most locations.  Actual delivery times can vary, and the shipment time estimates are not guaranteed.

USPS Express Mail - USPS Express Mail is the fastest shipping method that USPS offers.  These items are shipped in either a USPS Express box, a padded envelope, or a cardboard box, and arrive in 1-2 business days.  USPS delivers Monday - Saturday to most locations.  These packages are guaranteed to arrive no later than 2 business days after the order is shipped.

Domestic UPS Shipping Methods

UPS Ground - UPS Ground packages are shipped in cardboard boxes, and arrive in 1-5 days, depending on your location.  
If you live in NC, SC, and parts of GA, VA, and TN, your order will arrive in 1 business day!  If you live in GA, VA, AL, FL, TN, WV, MS, LA, AR, IL, IN, MI, OH, PA, NJ, MD, DE, CT and parts of MO and NY, your order will arrive in 2 business days!

UPS 3 Day Select - UPS 3 Day Select packages will arrive 3 days after the order is shipped, guaranteed.  UPS delivers Monday - Friday to most locations.

UPS 2nd Day Air - UPS 2nd Day Air packages will arrive 2 days after the order is shipped, guaranteed.  UPS delivers Monday - Friday to most locations.

UPS Next Day Air - UPS Next Day Air packages will arrive 1 day after the order is shipped, guaranteed.  UPS delivers Monday - Friday to most locations.

Returns / Exchanges

Any items that are new and unused may be returned for a refund, store credit, or exchange within 60 days of purchase.  Any items that were purchased 30 days or more ago are subject to a 10% restocking fee.  To return merchandise, please contact us to obtain a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.  We can be reached at 1-704-509-5700, Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm Eastern Standard Time.

If your order was shipped using free or discounted shipping, and you return your entire order, your refund may be reduced by the actual shipping charges paid for your order.

Any items that are defective or damaged should be returned to the manufacturer for service or replacement per the item warranty.  We only carry products from manufacturers that stand behind their products and provide good customer support for their products.  If you have any problems regarding a claim with a manufacturer, please contact us.
