Backorder FAQ

Carolinas R/C strives to keep an accurate real-time inventory.
We allow you to Backorder products that we don't currently have in stock.

Q: Will my order ship immediately, or will it wait on backordered item(s) to come into stock?
 
A: All in-stock items on your order will ship immediately. Your backordered item(s) will be shipped as soon as they arrive back in stock.

Q: What if I want my order held until the backordered item(s) are in stock, and then shipped all together?
 
A: You can request this in the Order Comments section of your order while checking out, below the shipping options.

Q: How long will I have to wait for my backordered item(s)?

A: If we don't have an item in stock, we can generally fill backorders in 2-5 business days, depending upon product availability. If you have questions regarding availability, contact CustomerService@CarolinasRC.com

Q: Do I have to pay extra shipping if part of my order is a backorder?

A: NO! We will take care of the shipping. At this time, you will only be charged standard shipping costs. We will cover the additional costs for the second shipment.

Q: If I backorder multiple items on a single order, when will the items ship?

A: Your backorder will be shipped out to you when ALL items that are on backorder come back into stock. If some of your items are back in stock, but some are still out of stock, you may request to have those items shipped...additional shipping costs may apply, however.
